WECA Virtual Advocacy Week
Join us as we gather with Wisconsin State legislators for a 45-minute Zoom meeting that includes a briefing on Wisconsin child care workforce issues from WECA and a 30-minute break-out session for participants to talk directly with elected officials and their staff.

About the Event
With the upcoming state budget process upon us, it is important to get the voices of early care and education professionals in front of our legislators. You know the essential role of child care in helping Wisconsin’s workforce and economy to thrive, and you know that the early care and education workforce needs more funding in order to survive. This is your time to share your story. Once you are registered, you will receive a handful of emails which will provide tips and best practices on how to prepare for the day. A confirmation of your assigned regional meeting and Zoom link will be provided in an email on March 1st.
